Finca Mara is located near Palma with a magnificent view over the stunning Majorcan landscape all the way to the sea.

The beautiful garden and pool area are just a few of the many attractions of this spacious mansion.

Enjoy complete tranquility by the pool during the day or lounge at night by a custom made fire pit.

Location

Establiments is a typical Majorcan village situated in the Northwest of Palma and is only about a fifteen minute car ride to the city centre. Every fifteen minutes there is a public bus (Line 16) going to Palma.

Finca Mara has a very central location offering many attractive day trip destinations within less than 30 minutes. One example are the Tramuntana mountains with the popular villages Valldemossa and Deia which are approximately 15 to 20 minutes away.

The beaches of Palma are about 20 minutes away.

From Palma airport it takes approximately 25 minutes to get to Finca Mara.

Facilities

You enter the classically decorated salon of the house from spacious terraces which spread out over multiple levels. The living area has a piano, a fireplace, a TV and a modern stereo system by Bang & Olufsen. There is also a massage chair for relaxing in the salon.

Right next to the salon is the dining area with an adjacent spacious kitchen which is fully equipped with all modern appliances.

Also on the ground floor is a separate TV room with German and Spanish Satellite TV as well as a small single bedroom (135 x 200 cm) with bathroom and a study room. All these rooms are decorated in typical Majorcan style.

On the upper floor is the master bedroom (160 x 200cm)with its own fireplace, a large TV and bathroom en suite. Through a small office right next to the bedroom you enter a lovely terrace which offers a great view all the way to the sea.

There are three more bedrooms which share one bathroom. This side of the house can be separated by a door which makes it a perfect fit for children or guests. bed sizes: 160 x 200 cm, 2 x 105 x 200 cm and 135 x 200 cm.

The exterior of the house is very beautiful and leaves nothing to be desired. You can wind down in the evenings on design lounge chairs in front of a custom built firepit or enjoy a barbecue dinner.

During the day the lush garden with its many little pathways and various plants and trees is the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The lovely pool lies behind tall hedges guaranteeing complete privacy.

leisure activities

For golf enthusiasts there many great courses nearby. The popular 18 hole courses Son Vida, Muntaner and Son Termens are just a short car ride away.

Within 5 to 10 minutes you can get to the tennis courts 'Sporting Tenis Padel', the Tennisclub Pon't de Inca Nou and the tennis courts of the private University.

Horsebackriding is available at the riding school Son Gual about 2 km away.

For sailing there are many boat rentals in Palma and Calviá like the Club Naútico in Palma for example.

Within 10 minutes you are in some of the best hiking areas of the island. Definitely worth a visit is the famous village Valldemossa where Frederic Chopin and his mistress George Sand found refuge or the lovely artist's village Deiá.

The closest sand beaches are at Playa de Palma and Cala Mayor. The pretty cove of Illetes is only about 20 minutes away. Some picturesque mountain coves like Cala de Deiá or Banyabulfar in the Tramuntana mountains are nearby as well.

The closest great restaurants are located in the town Esporles. Many more popular restaurants like the 'Es Baluard' with a lovely terrace overlooking the city of Palma or the 'Cabellito de Mar' are just a short car ride away.
