What makes it special
Finca Tranquila is a romantic stone villa with large pool set in beautiful scenery and absolutely quiet. Here you can experience the real Mallorca in its full beauty!
The holiday home consists of a main house with a double bedroom and two separate guest houses, each offering space for two additional people. A high degree of privacy is guaranteed! Ideal for a family with older children or friendly couples.
Location
The holiday house is set in a secluded location, but you can walk to the pretty village of Selva on foot. There are two small supermarkets, a tobacconist, a bank, a pharmacy, a bar and a good family restaurant.
The little neighboring village Selva is one of the most authentic places on the island. Many small alleyways and a picturesque little church make this town a truly unique and magical place.
The towns Inca, Lluc, Caimari, Moscari, Binibona and Biniamar are closeby and can be reached by bicycle or car. All of them offer a great impression of the typical lifestyle of Majorca.
In the town of Lluc lies the temple of the virgin Maria de Lluc, the patron saint of Majorca, build in the year 1239. This is a place of pilgrimage for many Majorcans and also a popular starting point for various excursions into the Tramuntana mountains.
A paradise for hikers, bikers and nature lovers who want to travel and get to know the real Mallorca.
From Palma airport it takes approximately 35 minutes by car to get to the finca.
Facilities
This stunning rural finca, built in 2000 in traditional style, is located on an approximately 7,500 m2 large property at the bottom of the foot of a mountain amidst beautiful nature. The holiday house is surrounded by a large mediterranean garden with palm trees, cactus, pine trees and olive groves.
A driveway leads to the main house, which is about 175 m2. A magnificent sun terrace overlooking the wide valley is a nice welcome. Here are several patio areas, where you can dine and relax comfortably. There is a traditional bread oven and barbecue. The appetizer for dinner, is best taken in the cozy, covered lounge area.
Further down in the garden of the Finca Tranquila is a pool (10 x 5 m) embedded in the idyllic landscape. There is plenty of sun loungers and parasols. As well, there are a couple of hammocks which when hung from the ancient olive trees are wonderful for a shaded siesta.
Doors combine the comfortable, well equipped kitchen of the main house to the outdoor area. There is a shady covered terrace with comfortable seating. An ideal place to relax in the midday heat. From the kitchen there is access to the adjacent, spacious living room which is divided into an elegant dining area and a TV area with comfy sofas and a fireplace. There is English satellite TV and German TV.
In the back of the salon to the left side a few steps lead up to the master bedroom with king-size bed (160 x 200 cm). The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. This double-bedded room is, like the other bedrooms, airconditioned and heated. All the bathrooms also have a heated towel rail and a hair dryer is provided in each.
Picturesque stone paths lead to the two guest houses, which lie slightly below the main house in the countryside. Both houses have two single beds (each 90 x 200 cm), which can be pushed together if desired, and each en-suite private bathroom with shower. Guest houses have their own private terrace with table and chairs.

leisure activities
There are wonderful beaches less than half an hour's drive as are both Palma and Pollença. Several golf courses are even closer.
There is plenty on offer in under an hour's drive for all ages as well as activities that will keep the more adventurous entertained. For the more adventurous, climbing caving and canyoning are all possible. Deià and Soller are less than an hour over the mountains.
Spa treatments are available within close proximity of the finca and Ayurvedic massages can be arranged in-house.
Wide variety of walks of varying lengths in the mountains behind the house. Good bird watching especially during the migration when up to 120 species may be seen.
Horse riding available locally.
The caves of Campanet are 10 minutes away from the house.
Inca (10 minutes drive) is the centre of Spain's leather industry and the factory shops provide tempting bargains.
The many local weekly markets are also a good source of presents.

All additional costs like final cleaning are already included in the price! No further fees!
A cleaning service can be arranged on request. Fees are based on effort.
High chair and cot are available, while baby-bedding should be brought by guests.
