What makes it special

A generous comfortable holiday home for six persons with a wonderful pool in a fantastic landscape. The sea and the next beaches are reachable in only a few minutes by car.

Location

From Palma airport it takes about 50 minutes to get to Pollenca.

Located in the Northern part of the Serra de Tramuntana Pollenca is one of the loveliest villages of the island. It comes with a lively 'Plaza', many small alleys and traditional stone houses. There are many remains of a storied past inviting for a stay and closer examination.

The neighboring towns Port de Pollenca and Cala Sant Vicenc offer port and beach activities.

The holiday house is situated on a flat hill in rural surroundings. 

Facilities

The land measures approximately twelve acres. Near to the house and the swimming-pool is a garden with Mediterranean plants and trees. The rest of the property, which is divided by old majorquin stone-walls, has a big "campo" and a forest, which is grown over with pines, olives and aged Algarrobas.

The house and the main-terrace show southward and have a wide view to the fields and chestnut oak hills. The terrace (about 200 m²) is roofed by 50 square meters (big dining table), an adjoining smaller porche is furnished with a dining table too.

The premises:

Spacious living room with large fire-place;

Separate dining room that connects directly to the kitchen;

study with fire-place, music installation and Satellite-TV (all German
TV-channels, CNN, MTV, some Spanish channels) and video. Telephone and Fax;

guest/children-part with two double bedrooms, each with shower / toilette en-suite. Adjacent to is a small saloon with TV (same as study) and video. A separate roofed terrace leads to the pool.

From all areas in the ground floor there is access to the terrace.

First floor:
huge master-bedroom with bath / shower / toilette en-suite; connected to another bedroom with French bed - shower / toilette en-suite.

The house measures a floor area of 350 m² indoors, the Swimming-pool 12 x 5 meters with a big sun terrace.

 

leisure activities

Distances: House to Pollensa 7 km, house to golf course 4 km, house to sea 12 km (Puerto Pollensa or Cala S. Vicente), house to Palma 55 km.

Cala Barques, Cala Clara and Cala Molins are the relatively small beaches of Cala Sant Vicenc. These are approximately 10 minutes drive away by car.

The rocky North coast is a diver's paradise.

A great adventure: daily boat cruises from Port de Pollenca to various destinations around Cape Formentor.

We recommend visiting the farmer's market in Pollenca every Sunday morning.

On August 2nd there is a particularly fun party occuring every year in Pollenca: The town celebrates the historic victory of the Christians over the Turks. The battle is reenacted loudly and colorfully. A great spectacle!

From the 320 m high Puig de Maria in the South East of Pollenca you have a magnificent 360 degree view. Another recommendation: Hike all the way from town up to the chapel - you will be rewarded with a great view here as well!

Bed linen and towels are provided.

All additional costs like final cleaning are already included in the price! No further fees!

The rate includes change of bed linen two times the week.

Air conditioning in the two bedrooms upstairs.

Heating

The holiday home is equipped with heating and therefore also suitable for cooler months.

Additional costs

A security deposit of euro 500,- has to be paid in cash on the day of arrival and will be refunded to the clients bank account 3 days after departure once the house has been checked thoroughly.
