Manorial the holiday home is perched on a hill at Valldemossa, providing spectacular views across the valley to the sea from the terrace as well as from the pool.
No less impressive are the interior appointments of this luxury estate. High-quality materials, lots of light, and stylish interior design make this villa a little work of art. A holiday enjoyment at the highest level for up to eight people!
Location
Not far from Majorca's most popular and picturesque mountain villages of Valldemossa and Deià, the finca is situated in a quiet Residenzia. From the house it is a five minutes drive by car to the village of Valldemossa, Majorca's most famous village.
Valldemossa is located in the heart of the Tramuntana mountains and is nestled in the breathtakingly beautiful scenic landscape. Original preserved houses from the 16th Century, the beautiful church and the monastery of Valldemossa make an experience.
Fame has reached the village with the composer Frederic Chopin, who spent the winter 1838/1839 there with his friend George Sand.
A few kilometers further on is the slightly smaller but no less beautiful mountain village of Deià. The mountain coves of Valldemossa and Deià are romantic and worth seeing! Sandy beaches are located in the west - or south-east coast in half hour distance. The coastal route to Cape Formentor is impressive. Here, there are many dramatic curves, and it is a worthwhile trip!
For the love of natural beauty many artists and individuals have always been settled in this area. The best known of them all is Chopin, but Michael Douglas as well as others have discovered this corner of the world for themselves.
From the airport to Valldemossa there are about 20 minutes. Up to Palma city, there are also 20 minutes.
Facilities
Finca Montana can be entered over a light and airy, elegant room with comfortable seating and a fireplace. Minimalist design with architectural skillfully set light sources indicate the contemporary spirit of the villa, but also classical and traditional elements are skillfully integrated.
Due to the large panoramic windows one can already see the highlight of the property: a large terrace over the entire length of the house, offering spectacular views over the unique landscape to the sea. On the covered terrace, there are comfortable lounge areas to relax, as well as large tables that can be placed on a long table for elegant dinner together.
Left of the salon is a modern bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200) and a sleek, mirrored bathroom en-suite behind a partition. This bathroom has both a separate shower and bathtub and double sinks.
Turning right from the salon to the dining area, adjacent to a large, fully equipped kitchen. From the kitchen one a spiral staircase leads down to the sleeping quarters. Here are three more bedrooms. Two of them share a bathroom with tub and separate shower. These two bedrooms each have two single beds (90x200), which can be pushed together if desired.
At the end of the lower floor lies the master bedroom with two majestic twin beds (120x200) in the old Majorcan style, that are set to a large double bed together. This room has a private ensuite bathroom with shower.
The pool is nestled in front of the lower part of the house in the beautiful countryside. A teak sun deck with a covered area offers the opportunity to relax in the great pool (4 x 11m) either in the shade or the sun.
The house is child friendly, but due to circumstances such as steep spiral staircase and access to the pool it is more suitable for older children or babies. Baby cot is available!
leisure activities
Inspired by the book "A Winter in Mallorca", which George Sand wrote during her stay with Chopin in Majorca, Valldemossa has become a popular tourist destination. The heart of the village is closed to traffic and invites you to stroll through the streets and visit the monastery where Chopin and George Sand found accommodation.
The pretty mountain village of Deià is just a 10 minutes drive from Valldemossa. Very beautiful and romantic are the bays of Valldemossa and Deià.
Also the beautiful place Soller and Port de Soller are well worth a visit. From here, the traditional railway runs to Palma. Port de Soller, with its newly created sand beach and a beautiful harbor can be reached by a winding, but picturesque mountain road.
The area around Valldemossa is an ideal starting point for walks in the Tramuntana mountains.

The holiday home is equipped with heating and therefore also suitable for cooler months.
Additional costs
A security deposit of euro 500,- has to be paid in cash on the day of arrival and will be refunded to the clients bank account 3 days after departure once the house has been checked thoroughly.
