General terms of business

1. Conclusion of contract
The reservation of a private holiday residence, which may take place in writing, verbally or on the telephone, will become binding when payment of the rental price is deposited into the account of Enjoy Mallorca S.L., which acts as a mediator between the tenant and the property owner.

By paying the rental price the tenant / guest expressly confirms these general terms of business and the conclusion of the rental contract / confirmation of reservation.

2. Payment
A payment of 20% of the cost must be made within 7 days of receipt of the booking confirmation. If the payment is not made within this period, Enjoy Mallorca S.L. may cancel the reservation process and has the right to rent out the accommodation to another customer.

All prices on our webside are including the spanish VAT 16 % (IVA.) !

Payment of the remainder of the rental price and any complementary expenses (see booking confirmation) must take place 8 weeks before arrival at the latest, with no further reminders.

3. Services
The extent of the contractual services is as given in the booking confirmation. Any supplementary agreements which may modify the extent of these services require specific confirmation.

4. Share of responsibility
If you ascertain any irregularities / damage to items on the inventory / furniture etc. on moving into the holiday accommodation, please inform us of this within 24 hours. We regret that we cannot take any claims made after this period into account.

Since most of the holiday homes are in rural areas, ants, flies or other small animals are to be expected.

This is not a shortcoming and therefore does not give rise to an entitlement to compensation.

5. Installations / equipment
You have opted for private holiday accommodation on Mallorca.

Please bear in mind that the taste of the installations / equipment, whether they be rural or modern, do not always correspond to what nationals of other countries may expect and have their own charms.
Bedroom equipment (linen, blankets, pillows etc.) is provided, as are towels, tea towels and cooking utensils etc.

6. Liability
Enjoy Mallorca S.L. passes the booking onto the lessor / owner of the holiday home and is responsible for the correct, meticulous processing of the rental booking.
No responsibility is accepted in the event that the rented object is affected by force majeure, such as strike, war, failure in the usual water and electricity supply or storm.

If use of the property is rendered impossible as a result of force majeure and no replacement can be found, liability will be limited to a maximum of the payments already made by the client.

We can accept no responsibility for any inconvenience caused by noise due to building activities on neighbouring plots of land or similar.

The client is responsible for his or her own valuables / cash etc.
We will attend to no claims for compensation in this regard.

The lessor and Enjoy Mallorca S.L. accept no responsibility in the event of burglary and theft.
Enjoy Mallorca S.L. must be informed immediately of any damages which may occur.

7. Arrival
Generally speaking the holiday homes can be occupied from 4 pm.

The accommodation must be vacated by 11 am.

Arrangements can be made to accommodate individual arrival and departure times with Enjoy Mallorca S.L..

8. Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of a reservation, a fee will be charged on behalf of the owner.

The cancellation must be written down and send by e-mail or via fax and will be counted and valid at the day Enjoy Mallorca S.L will receave the cancellation.

If cancellation takes place
up to 90 days before arrival, the charge is 30%,
up to 60 days before arrival, the charge is 50%,
up to 30 days before arrival, the charge is 70%,
up to 1 day before arrival, the charge is 100%,
on the day of arrival and thereafter, the charge is 100% of the total price.

Please do consider taking out cancellation insurance, which you can contract on the Enjoy Mallorca S.L. website under the travel insurance option, or in any travel agency.

 In case you would like to change the booking of your holiday house into another, Enjoy Mallorca will try it’s best to make your wishes come true, but there is no automatical asurance for it. A re-booking or storno fee of EURO 60,- will be charged.

9. End-of-holiday cleaning
The holiday accommodation should be handed over clean.

Enjoy Mallorca S.L., or the owner, will make arrangements for end-of-holiday cleaning.

End-of-holiday cleaning may not be done by tenants.

10. Pets
If you wish to bring pets, the prior consent of the lessor or of Enjoy Mallorca S.L. is necessary.

The tenant will be held responsible for any damage caused by pets.

11. Hire car
The hire cars offered by Enjoy- Mallorca S.L. are solely and exclusively an external service negotiated between the customer and the car rental company.

All complaints and claims for damages on the part of the customer must be addressed to the car rental company.

12. Others
Jurisdiction for all disputes resulting from the contract is in the location of the rented object, or the residence of the owner.
