Short description

With the incredible views and the sparkling Mediterranean sea on the horizon, it is hard not to fall in love with this beautiful estate just outside the picturesque village of Valldemossa, on Mallorca's magnificent west coast.

Nestled in a protective environment of greenery such as olive trees, cypresses, citrus and palm trees, the property overlooks wide valleys facing the Mediterranean sea. Already from afar, the front facade and the two wings can be seen, which underline the large and compact volumes of the architecture. In front of the house there is a gravel field where the greenery is palpable with lushly growing hedges, trees and flowers.

Full property description

The quadrangular estate consists of two carefully renovated buildings whose history goes back to the year 1889 when the house was bought as a sanctuary by the Austrian Archduke Luís Salvador, but traces of this time still remain today. With a total living space of a full 2000 square meters and a plot that of 758,000 square meters, the possibilities are great for creating more than a home. In this peaceful and idyllic place, dreams can come true. Maybe a bed and breakfast, café, yoga retreat, a course activity or a farm workshop is on the wish list? At the same time as the calm and peaceful surroundings rest on the farm, it is conveniently close to the lively and idyllic village of Valldemossa.

Here is the opportunity to live on the countryside but at the same time reach the pulse of the big city of Palma in just 20 minutes. Perhaps the yearning for country life is greater now more than ever. The green surroundings embrace a paved courtyard behind the iron gates.

Stylish entrance
The classic wooden double doors lead into the courtyard with a paved open area adorned with beautiful bougainvillea and flowers. You can already feel uniqueness of the lime walls and the wabi-sabi style of the house, with a clear appreciation of both natural objects and the forces of nature. Behind one of the traditional wooden doors hides a characteristic little chapel with many preserved original details. Within this level, the mallorquin ''traditional kitchen'' and the old olive press are witness of the organic farming days.

Entrance floor
On the entrance floor, the traditional kitchen with solid oak details in combination with stone and opened area in the kitchen is filled by a wooden dining table that allows dinners for both family and guests. The charm with details from the past such as the fireplace in combination with a fully equipped and furnished kitchen attracts both long cooking and socializing around the large dining table.

The interior of the house is to some extent modernized but in a true-to-the-time spirit that provides a fine balance between past and present.

Gardens, Terrases and surrounding
The farm has tangible greenery with lushly growing hedges, trees and flowers. From the living room's double wooden doors with glass sections, a lush garden with vegetation in the form of plantings and rose bushes is connected. From the patio you can reach another terrace with a view of the mountain peaks and the open landscape.
