  • Can I make requests without having to commit to anything, to enquire about whether the property is still available or not?"
    Absolutely! We do not want to rush you into renting a property without having enough time to think everything through. If you inquire for a property, you receive a booking request from us, but that does not mean that you already confirmed your booking. Your booking is confirmed upon the moment we have received your first down-payment AND you have received your booking confirmation.
  • How do I add a new question?
    To add a new question go to app settings and press "Manage Questions" button.
  • Is there a possibility to visit the property before I book it?
    No problem at all! As long as there are no guests staying at the property at the same time and there are no other arrangements for us, we can organize a visit.
  • Can I reserve a holiday home without obligation?
    We can pre-block dates for you as long as there are no other enquiries coming in.
  • Is there a possibility of different arrival and departure travel dates?
    As long as the minimum stay is complied, we are flexible with the days of arrival and departure.
  • Is there a minimum stay?
    There is a minimum stay of 7 days in all our houses except Can Miquelet and Sandy Toes Beach House. Those two houses have no minimum stay.
  • Am I allowed to arrive with more people?
    No, it is only allowed to arrive with the same number of guests as agreed. Please check the property description to determine what is the maximum number of guests allowed.
  • What is the security deposit and the eco-tax I have to pay upon arrival?
    The eco-tax is a direct tax that will be charged to all individuals staying in tourist establishments. We charge you the deposit to secure that you leave the accommodation in the same state as it was handed to you. The security deposit will be sent back to you within 7 days after your departure.   • Do you offer any additional services?
    In the first place we only do the holiday rental, so we just provide the house. However, we can recommend you for example private chefs and activities to do, in case you need extra services.
  • How do I know my booking is a real one and not a scam? Is there any way you can verify your properties?
    Due to the new holiday rentals law in Mallorca, all rentals need a license to proof they are acting legally. You can check all registration numbers of our properties on their description on our website. Alternatively, there is also an app called Verificador alquiler turistico where all registered holiday rentals on the Balearic Islands are mentioned; so are ours! Please note also the ETV badge we have put on our houses. To find out more about the ETV and its purpose, click here. We know that nowadays you never can be sure, if the next holiday you booked online is indeed a real one or a scam. Be assured that we are a legitimate company and our houses are registered as legal holiday rentals, all approved by the Balearic Tourism Council.
  • How can I make a booking?
    First you enquire for your preferred time period (via E-Mail, Homeaway, AirBnB or Tripadvisor). After checking our calendar, we can rather confirm or decline if the requested dates are available. If the dates are still available, we will send you all details about your booking (booking request) to your provided e-mail address. In the booking request you will also find our bank details to make the first down-payment and therefore confirm your booking.
  • What personal details are needed to make a booking?
    To place your booking, we need your full name, full address, passport number, your mobile phone number and the exact number of guests (adults & children).
  • What happens after I paid the first down-payment?
    After receiving the first down payment, your booking is confirmed. After that, we will just get back to you 60 days before your arrival to ask you for the 2nd payment.
  • What happens after I paid the full amount?
    After we received the 2nd payment, we will send you the welcome book of the house that contains all important information about the property and the directions to the house, too. Two weeks before your arrival we send you a quick catch up e-mail, inform you about Check-In process and clear out last questions concerning your arrival.
  • What do I do if I want to change my booking?
    Please inform us about changes as soon as possible and we will see what we can do. Usually a change of guest number or dates are no problem as long as the maximum number of guests will not be exceeded, or the dates are not blocked yet for another reservation.
  • What are the payment methods?
    You can pay by bank transfer or credit card (Visa/Mastercard).
  • How and when do I pay for my holiday rental?
    Once you have received your booking request, we will ask you to pay the first down-payment (30% of the full amount) to confirm your booking. You can pay by bank transfer or credit card (Visa, Mastercard). 60 days before your arrival we will send you a quick reminder to transfer us the 2nd payment. In case you booked within the 60 days already, your payment will be due in full!
  • Do I have to give my credit card information?
    If you decide to pay by credit card, we will send you an authorization document that you need to sign. This document enables us to charge your credit card with your permission. The information needed are your credit card number and the expire date. We neither pass on this data to third parties nor use it for any other purposes of our own.
  • When do I have to pay the deposit and the ecotax and who do I give it to?
    We will charge you the security deposit and the ecotax the day of your arrival at Check-In. You can pay it in cash or by credit card.
  • Are there any additional costs to the total price mentioned in the booking confirmation?
    The price mentioned in your booking confirmation is your full price for the rental and there are no more additional costs. If you require extra services like catering, cleaning etc., these are costs apart from the rental price.
  • When will the deposit be sent back to me?
    The security deposit will be sent back to you within 7 days after your departure.
  • How do I know the address of the property?
    We will send you the exact address of the property after your second payment has gone through. Also, we will send you the directions how to get there.
  • Will there be someone at the house waiting for us at Check-In?
    Yes! There will be always someone from our company at the property to welcome you and who also does the Check-Out the day of your departure!
  • Are there any manuals about the house and emergency numbers given during my stay?
    Yes, we provide you with a manual where the most important things about the house are explained! Also, we will give you a 24h contact number in case of any emergency.
  • What happens if something at the house does not work?
    Tell us straight away! Give us a quick call or send us a message and we will try to solve the problem as fast as possible!
  • At what time are the Check-In and the Check-out?
    The usual Check-In time is at 16:00h and the Check-Out time is at 10:00h or 11:00h.
  • Is there a possibility of having an early Check-In/late Check-Out?
    There is no guarantee for that, because we have to check first if we have other guests coming in the same day or not.
  • What basic facilities come with the property and what do I have to bring myself?
    We provide basic facilities like towels, hairdryers, kitchen facilities, toilet paper etc. at the houses. Please note that – if not agreed otherwise – the houses are self-catering houses and you need to buy groceries by yourself.
  • Can I host any events at the property?
    Only at Finca EcoLuxe Playa Valldemossa it is possible to host events. Please ask us for more information!
